Sweet Thanksgiving

What could be better than Thanksgiving in Bass Lake with Dave, Gayle and Allison? Nothing! It was perfect.

Great food, lots of love, good conversation, hugs, laughter, gratitude, tall trees, fires in the fireplace, a Christmas tree lighting that never lit, hikes, pizza= perfection.

October 2013

October was full of fun. 

The big event was Jon and Brieann's wedding year  month day. The entire family was involved and it required us to travel with an entourage in order to pull the thing off.

In addition to the wedding, we also were able to sneak away to Bass Lake with the Paschalls, hunt for pumpkins, celebrate birthdays, paddle board in the summer-like temperatures and let loose on Halloween. At the end of the month, Rosie was chosen by her teacher to lead the flag salute for the whole school and topped it off with an adorable new haircut and the desire to donate her hair to Locks of Love. 

 The girls put their heads together and decided to be "matching baby cheetahs."

Um, Ok. Done!

Ron was John McEnroe. He'd periodically throw his racquet and shout, "You call this CANDY? I'll show you CANDY"
