Girls' Day Out
While up at camp, Rosie and I decided to have a girls' day out while Ron was in the High Sierras with the boys. We went to the Fresno Zoo (with a much needed stop off at Target on the way). We had a great time watching the elephants, monkeys, zebra, giraffe, and Rosie's favorite; the Galapagos Tortoise. Rosie could have watched the turtles all day. These amazing creatures were the size of Mini Coopers and nearing 70 years old. Seriously, think about that! They were born when FDR was president. We ended our day together with a quick run through Chick-Fil-A for a sweet tea (for mama) and a juice box (for Ms. Tortoise) and headed back up the hill.
