Sadie was baptized on Sunday at church. It was such a sacred moment for our family. What a gift to have such an amazing church community to surround us and vow to love and help us raise our girls with the Love of Christ. We're blessed beyond belief.

We were blessed to have my parents and the Hunts join us for the morning and an afternoon picnic at the park... thanks, Erin, for the great pictures. Sadie was a great sport. She's certainly showing us that she's developing a little personality of her own. When we first walked up onto the stage, I took out Sadie's "bink" so she wasn't standing in front of the church with her famous green pacifier in. We'd been standing up there for about 30 seconds when Sadie reached down into my hand, grabbed the pacifier and popped it back in her mouth. I imagined her saying, "I'll take THAT, thank you very much!"
She also decided that Tod's microphone looked like a lot of fun. The pastors at our church wear the Garth Brooks microphones... for lack of a better title. The whole time Tod was praying, Sadie was lunging from his arms after the microphone. By the time he said, "Amen," he was practically in a back bend trying to stay out of Sadie's grip. It was great.
