We pulled Rosie out of school early this year so that we could head back to the midwest for an Eckert family reunion. Ron and Steve represented the Ron and Carol Eckert side of the family while Uncle Jim, Uncle Dick and Aunt Frieda came with ALL of their kids and grandkids. We took over the Residence Inn and most of downtown Chicago with our 35 Eckerts. Our girls were in absolute heaven with so many kids their age. It was a fun time reconnecting, telling stories and painting the town with family that we don't get to see very often. We only wish we could spend more time together.
