We signed Sadie up for soccer this fall. She's playing on a friend's team and is loving it! She's fast and agile and is learned to be aggressive as a forward. This is something that we really had to talk her through. Her whole life, she's had people telling her that she shouldn't take things away from other people, that she should share and be generous.
And now, those said people are standing on the sidelines red faced and screaming for Sadie to, "GET THE BALL! STEAL IT BACK! TAKE IT AWAY FROM HER!"
It's all so confusing :) Sadie is learning about offensive play... mom is learning to cheer quietly.
We are loving watching our girl learn something new, be a team player, be coached and have a great time.
