Rosie's 8th Birthday Party

Rosie had more of a birthday-palooza this year, with multiple parties and her beloved entourage. How I love being part of my kids' entourage! We kicked things off with a family party. Uncle Steve, Aunt Lori, Allison and Marcus were in town and Mimi, Papa, Erin, Lucy and Henry came down for the festivities. Rosie's big gift was a trip to the mall to get her ears pierced (insert dad's gasp.)
After that, we headed to the Shea Center for some 3rd annual horseback riding fun. From there we went to Ruby's for some burgers and fries and then back to our house for cake and ice cream. Later in the week, we welcomed Cordon Bleu trained Chef Becky into our home for a French themed cooking class and birthday party. Chef Becky is multi talented. She turned our kitchen into a Patisserie and taught her tiny sou chefs to bake madeleines, meringues and more! After the baking portion, the girls watched the American Girl movie about Grace, who travels to France to work in her family's bakery. This party was SO much fun!
