Happy 29th 45th Birthday, Ron Eckert!
Poor Ron has a bit of a rip off birthday every year. He's super gracious... but he also feels strongly about what birthdays that happen to fall around holidays look like. No Christmas wrapping paper. No combined gifts. No left- over- Christmas-dessert- disguised- as- a- birthday- cake.
Got it. Done. I let the girls pick the day... it started with a cinnamon roll from Molly's, followed by an afternoon at Boomers... slick track racing, rides and video games.... you know, Dad Dude stuff.
I planned the evening... Eckerts, Myers and Knutsons... dinner at Jimmy's and Star Wars at the Cineopolis (think movie theater.. but scrap the popcorn and replace it with a recliner with a cocktail.)
No rip off birthday here!
Happy Birthday, Babe. We all adore you and all of your 45 years.
